I was already having a bad day, inasmuch as my Mother is getting a biopsy of uterus and it makes me frightened, and therefore cranky. Then Sorcha called and my cranky exploded into steel-bending rage.
She has moved most of her stuff and the big furniture out of the home she still 1/2 owns with Priss Pot. Her older children, the teens Artemis and Jupiter, have been moving the personal dribs and drabs of their stuff out of the old house and into their mom’s new place as frequently as they can, what with the fact they both work and go to school. The reason they work is because Sorcha wants them to be adults with a profound understanding of responsibility and mature duty, so neither of them will turn out to be the shirking, whiny twatwaffle Priss pot is. When Gaia is old enough, her mother will encourage her to work and assume responsibilities as well.
Anyway, Sorcha went over to the old house last night to get some more things (Priss Pot is trying to prevent her from taking a lunchbox she bought because he thinks he might need it, that is the kind of shit she is dealing with from him, BTW) and she discovered Priss Pot’s mom, let’s call her Fungus, is there. Fine. Sorcha has never had a problem with Fungus before, and has tried to remain cordial considering that she doesn’t want Gaia estranged from anyone. Apparently Fungus is down for the whole week, because this is Priss Pot’s first week having Gaia with him for his half of the joint custody and Heaven Forbid poor widdle Priss Pot actually have to take care of his own daughter so his mommy must come do it for him. Sorcha has talked to her lawyer and if Priss Pot tries to do this every single one of his weeks to parent Gaia then Sorcha can ask for more custody since Priss Pot is clearly not fit to parent on his own.
I digress.
The point is that Sorcha found Fungus had thrown away a lot of Jupiter’s personal items, including mementos he has from his deceased father, because she “thought they were just trash”. See, Fungus needs her own room in her son’s house so she was pitching Jupe’s stuff out for her own convenience. Honestly, I don’t know why Fungus doesn’t sleep with Priss Pot, since she does everything else for him. Sorcha was NOT pleased and told Fungus that she was to never, ever touch any more of the kid’s things. Fungus sniffed and said it was “Prissy’s house” now and she could do what she liked, whereupon Sorcha reminded her that she still legally owned half of the house until Priss Pot bought her out (which he has only 60 days to do or she can force the house up on the market) and if Fungus touched the kids’ property again there would be hell to pay. Fungus, not being a stupid as she is vindictive and bitchy, backed the fokk down.
Fungus has known Artemis and Jupiter since they were 4 and 2, so Sorcha had no idea that Fungus would pull shit like this. I think Fungus is doing it to punish Sorcha for leaving her precious baby boy, since the poor delicate lamb might have to fend for himself like a normal guy (but not a man by any stretch) in his mid-thirties. Sorcha’s most vulnerable spot is her kids. Jupiter is a sweet-tempered youngster, so I think that is why his stuff was targeted … he the one least likely to fuss. Artemis is the child of my soul, and she would just as soon rip an asshat’s face off as look at it, so Priss Pot and Fungus don’t poke that bear.
I want, so badly, to slap Fungus into the middle of next week. HOW DARE THAT CUNTMONKEY HURT MY GODSON! How dare she hurt a child she has bathed and tucked into bed as a preschooler? How dare she treat a child, whom she has told a thousand times that she loves, as if he was garbage because now that his mom is divorcing Priss Pot he doesn’t count anymore? *transcendent rage*
There is some good to come out of this, though. Sorcha called her lawyer and told him he was off his leash; she didn’t care how much Priss Pot would cry her lawyer could take him to the cleaners after this. She had tried to be civil. She had told her lawyer she wanted amicability more that her fair share. Well, no more sunshine. The gloves are OFF. Her lawyer was thrilled, because even though divorce lawyers have seen everything and tend to ignore it and not get involved, he told Sorcha he despises Priss Pot. To meet Priss Pot even once is to walk away thinking, “what a spoiled little tit”.
Priss Pot is the not-man he is today because Fungus has petted him and enabled him until he is a entitled goat blowing narcissist. I hope she enjoys her little boy, because he is ALL hers now.
It is no worse than she deserves.
Was she able to rescue Jupiter’s stuff from the trash? Damn, I hope so. Go Sorcha!
No, it was gone. Fungus is so far down my shit list right now she is about to pop up in Australia.
I’ve got personal issues re this kind of behavior that clogged me up earlier. Angry doesn’t even touch it. Tell Sorcha to remove anything that she or the kids don’t want to lose – NOW. This woman will not stop, she’ll just be sneakier. And if Sorcha doesn’t have proof that the objects exist, it will simply be her word against hers/theirs that it is missing.
My first reaction to this was to punch Fungus’ face in until she’s just gone. But that won’t actually bring Jupiter’s things back, apparently. More’s the pity. Any chance that the trash guys could help out, or even the police? That’s got to be vandalism or theft or something actionable somewhere. The sole bright side is that the lawyer’s leash is off. I hope you can all find a way to, if not replace or supplement the items somehow, then at least help Jupiter repair the sense of betrayal and loss he’s got to be dealing with from both Fungus’ actions and the lack of his mementos.
Fungus’ action is just plain evil. I don’t use that word a lot, it’s very strong, but in this case, entirely apt.
That is cruel and heartless and clearly the sort of crap that Fungus has always done (see: worthless dirtbag whiny son)
I read this earlier and was so angry that I couldn’t even respond then. I can’t imagine how I would have reacted to this where I would not have ended up in jail. Both of them, mother and son are horrid excuses for humans, and I agree, they deserve each other.
Please don’t send Fungus to Australia. I don’t want her either!
What a peice of shit. I’m glad Sorsha has removed the gloves. It’s time. Mess with me, well, ok. I’ll sort you out. Mess with my kid? He’s nearly 21 and quite capable of looking after himself.. But give me a chance and I’ll crush you anyway. She is Momma, hear her roar!
How awful. Well at least these terrible people will soon be out of the older kids’ lives.
