Whee! That was fun!
My mundane alter-ego just did a guest lecture at my local university on my non-fiction history book and it was GREAT to be in front of undergrads again. There is so much they don’t know about yet, and I get a large charge out of filling up curious minds. They seemed most interested when I told them the ancient/medieval understanding of anatomy. It used to be believed that woman were men who were too “cold” to push their penis outside of their bodies while still in the womb, and that the vagina/uterus was just an upside down and inside out penis/scrotum:
That’s always an attention grabber, that is.
I also got to vigorously defend some highly defamed and slandered historical figures. Debunking vaginal myths and smacking down historical slut-shaming … I love that shit.
Happy.

Good on you, Fokker! I love that you smack down historical slut-shaming!
WOOHOO! By the way, your alter-ego’s book was awesome. I was mancoldfluthingy sick and adjusting stupid-meds at the time I started reading it, which is what took me so long, but it was totally in my wheelhouse and I loved it.
Many thanks!!! Please feel free to give it a good review on Amazon :0)
Wait… that’s not true? [JK]
